The Brand New Member of the Skifix team is........... Eddy Williams

Skifix's new partner Eddy Williams started skiing at tender the age of 6 with his family; instantly hooked he continued to go on more trips with school, friends and family. Sadly Eddy's hopes of a career as a pro-skier were dashed in his first season in Les Deux Alpes when he entered the British Championships and came second to last (the person in last had fallen over!).Having sped through 3 years at university Eddy jumped straight back onto the season train working in a variety of roles in Serre Chevalier, as well as Courchevel and most recently as a hotel manager in Les Deux Alpes.  With Eddy's invaluable knowledge of winter tourism, and "mad skills" we're sure he'll add to your Skifix holiday experience.

Eddy loves back country powder, but can also be found cranking it on the piste.  Outside of skiing Eddy enjoys long walks on the beach and 19^th century Russian literature.

Construction of the Bürglalm lift in Dienten

Yes! followers of Skifix and lovers of the Hochkoenig, it has finally happened, The monster 'T-Bar' is no more!

From the center of Dienten village next year there will be a modern, fast detachable chairlift. Two new huge bridges that you can ski across will provide direct access to the slopes and lifts. 

The new Bürglalm chair lift will also incorporate a large ski centre with parking bays, sports shop, bistro, ski hire, ski depot, service and ticket office. 

Since 2008, The Ski Amade and Hochkoenig companies have invested over 40 million Euros in the Ski region. Come and see the new developments you won't believe how far you can get in a day.
