The Hochkönig Lifts are Nearing Completion

The early snow in August made everyone cast their gaze towards the mountains and catch a glimpse of the new lifts emerging from the hill sides.
The three new chairs and 3.7 km long gondola cabin are starting to resemble real lifts rather than blocks of concrete in the mud. This season will be the first time that over 150 Kilometers of mountain slopes will be connected by fast and effective chairlifts turning the Hochkönig into area to rival any resort.

just a quick one to say a big thanks - we had an awesome time and despite being absolutely hammered by the end (that's what i get for drinking too many pints after a 'dry' january), i'd come back in a second.
